Started working on a new short story today, currently untitled. Got 1,641 words done.
It was one of those days when there is a yawning chasm between the words in my head and the words on the page. I suspect I’m going to be scrapping all of those words tomorrow and starting again.

I had that same feeling when I started writing short stories in February after spending 3 months on my novel. I found it really inspiring to be able to churn out a story in a couple of days rather than weeks or months!
