Writing:
A pretty good day in the word mines today. To the point where I’m half tempted to push on for another thousand words, but I’m not really sure what happens next. This is the way this draft is being written/rewritten – I tend to have to go away and do something else while the men in the basement work out how to fix the next scene. This next one is problematic, since it’s something that I’m debating excising from the book altogether. The men have the weekend to work that out.
Real life:
Laundry and not much else so far.
Another morning of feeling a little bit weird – dizzy, tired and blah. I’m pretty sure it’s either blood sugar or blood pressure weirdness. It’s making it difficult to get a lot done, which is frustrating, since there’s a lot of stuff that I want to do. I’m feeling relatively okay right now, though, apart from my back protesting sitting at the computer for too long. I think a short walk is in order, and then I shall settle down to some reading.
Beauty:
Waking up this morning nice and warm and relatively comfortable in bed and listening to the rain outside.
